- The Anti Human trafficking Unit is directly under the Supervision of the Superintendent of Police, West Jaintia Hills District.
- The AHTU have a monthly review meeting to discuss on cases related to Human Trafficking.
- On received of any information related to human trafficking, the members are to take immediate action and to seek co-operation from the respective OCs and ICs.
- The team keeps regular contact with women groups/NGOs/Headmen to keep track of any Human Trafficking case.
