The Anti Narcotics Task Force, Jowai was constituted on 31.07.2016. The cell operates under the direct supervision and control of the Superintendent of Police, West Jaintia Hills District. The ANTF deals with matters relating to illicit traffic in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, their apprehension as well as prevention and awareness and educating the masses on drug usage and abuse.
